It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of the Loreto House Obria medical Clinic, effective Friday, September 29, 2023.

Loreto House will continue to operate as a pregnancy and parenting support center; however, the clinic will no longer be in operation. Available appointments will be limited until closure.

As you transition your care to a new practice or provider, we recommend starting that process as soon as possible.Your medical records are confidential, and a copy can be transferred to another provider or released to you or to another person you designate only with your permission.

We are so grateful that you entrusted your care to us, and we wish you all the best.

Note: Loreto House Pregnancy and Parenting Center continues to operate as it has for the last 15 years. The board of directors was faced with the financial reality that we must discontinue the medical department due to insufficient re-imbursements from insurance and Medicaid providers. It was a noble effort on our mission to try to address the urgent medical needs of women who could not otherwise receive health services, but it was not sustainable. The Loreto House mission is still open and serving a growing number of women as we continue to provide a vast array of services and material goods to women in our community.
