The Immaculate Heart of Mary, seen on countless statues and holy pictures, is one of the most fundamental symbols of the purity by which our Lady is identified as the Mother of God.
This design was digitized from a book from the 13th and 14thcentury designs made for fine vestments and linens. I added the text that I thought was appropriate and beautiful.
